Our featured artist for the month of August is photographer Jeremy Wangler, presenting newly-printed works in his series, "Kansas sky, grass, gravel." Jeremy, a resident artist at Amused, will be showing several new 18x12 framed and matted prints of the Kansas landscape, as well as other works. You can also visit his permanent shop among the artists studios at Amused.

Our November featured artist will be Lola Williams. Her intuitively painted impressionistic abstracts move the viewer to delve into otherworldly intrigue. Be sure to come in during the First Friday Art Walk to meet with the artist. Her collection will be shown throughout the month of November during regular gallery hours.
oCTOBER 2023 fEATURED SHOW
Happy Anniversary to us!! We cut the ribbon in October of 2013 and have now made it to 10 years. We invited past and present artists to be featured all month, as well as, displaying a few pictures of our journey. We will keep our guest book out as well as a drawing for prizes. Much thanks for everyone who has stopped in, called or messaged us so far. It's been quite a wild ride! We are so thankful for our artists and patrons for their friendship and support!

Mental Health in Art and Word: A Multi-Medium Art Show Curated by Devin Wineinger of Sparks & Steam
The Show:
Mental Health in Art & Word in an art show organized by the artist Devin Wineinger to spread mental health awareness and to provide encouragement and connection to those currently struggling with mental health. The show's subject matter includes many aspects of mental health such as deep emotions, dealing with painful life experiences, and coping with mental health disorders. This is a moving must see show!
The show will feature a dozen artist/writers and includes 2D and 3D artwork as well as poetry and other writing. The exhibit will be displayed at Amused Gallery from September 1st - September 30th during regular business hours (Wednesday- Saturday 11am-6pm). 15% of proceeds from all artwork sold at the show will be donated to the 988 Suicide and Crisis Hotline.
The Opening Reception:
There will be an opening reception on September 1st from 5pm-9pm (during the First Friday Art Walk). The reception will have refreshments and will be a great time to meet and talk with the featured artists and writers. At 6:30pm there will be a special reading of the show's written works by the authors. During the reception, the audience will also have a chance to vote for their favorite work of the show, so make sure to stop by on your First Friday Art Walk tour!
